.co domains

I've found an unregistered .co domain with generic names and it has 14,000 exact local searches in Google Keyword Tool.

Is it worth buying?

I should add the .biz is also available, but they're the only extensions available. Buy them both?

.CO had a large promotion at launch but a lot has since fallen silent. I own a couple of .CO domains and feel they will rank well for their generic terms but wouldn't command much for the aftersale market.

If you plan on using it for development then buy it, if not then I wouldn't bother.
I certainly wouldn't ever buy a .biz domain.

Thanks WaftyCrank. I don't think I'll develop it but since its generic domain a company in that line might buy it. I'll leave the .biz

Never register a domain you wouldn't develop.

It's always best (and more realistic) to assume it will never sell.

EMD .co's are well worth development i have had numerous sites hit 1st page.
Ive sold a few recently for good money. So if your looking to develop then 100% the .co all mine fly up the rankings... but unique good quality content is key to success with Google more now then ever
