Hi guys, just a question about seo, for a site to do with london hotels, bearing in mind their should be people searching google from abroad as well as from the uk. which is best from a seo point of view. Both the .com and the .co.uk are available on the phrase i want. I read somewhere that google respect the .co.uk more than the .com and give it less scrutiny. Any opinions??

If you have the chance of both take both...

Build the site on the .co.uk for maximum position on google.co.uk.

You might as well register the .com as well and forward it to the .co.uk. Best to also own the .com if you're serious about the domain.
