Im looking for a bit of advice regarding a .com domain.

The domain name recently expired and was deleted, there are no full whois details of the new registrant, all im getting is the following:

The domain name was owned by a client which was left to expire for circumstances outside of his hands, he would like to obtain this domain name back.

well, oregonnames.com is owned by snapnames (oversee), who also own moniker
http://whois.domaintools.com/oregonnames.com

same with:
http://whois.domaintools.com/europeanconnectiononline.com

same people

go over to snapnames and see if on auction and/or possible oversee picked up for their own portfolio which they do also
