Company URL - Need help

Morning all,

I need your help deciding on a company url.

For the purposes of this thread the company is called "Amateur Judo Championships" (AJC) and organises sports events. Understandably all decent top level domains (.com, .co.uk etc) for AJC are taken as it is a nice three letter. Even the likes of .info and .scot aren't available either.

I have a couple of choices and wanted your thoughts;

theAJC.co.uk & .uk
AJC.fans
AJC.events
tAJC.co.uk & .uk

Never registered a "new type" of reg and wanted to know which of the above you prefer? Created a poll but also wouldn't mind any thoughts being shared in the thread.

As the company is a "championship" we'll also do competitor management, merchandise and other things, not only events.

Don't you think it looks a bit daft though TAJC. Not like the AA who have theAA.com so you can read it easily.

I think merchandise, competitor mangement etc, can happily sit under an events url. I'd personally avoid the new gtld's.

theajc.co.uk works best for me. It also sounds official, and that's good for this use.

I agree with Admin. It can all go under the events banner, even if you do more than just that.

Edit to add - None of the others fit IMHO, and make it look more amateur.

But one of your options is AJC.events, In my opinion AJCevents.co.uk/uk is far better option.
