I'm a bit confused when it comes to the google keyword tool when it comes to targeting a worldwide audience and not just UK,

i have typed in my keyword phrase which is 3 words (small words) and the box that says global is ticked,

here are the results

Global monthly searches 450,000
Monthly Local Searches 49,500
CPC £11.55

Out of the global and the monthly local which is the one that i should pay attention to.. hope im not confusing anyone,

The reason i ask is because i have found a domain and the following ext are taken, .com .co.uk .org .org.uk

The .Net is free to reg... is with worth a gamble? and is there a market out there for . net

Thanks

General rule is to take use the global values for .net unless it's a phrase/ keyword predominantly used in the UK, then use the UK figures. Try ticking the 'exacts' box to get a better idea of the search volume for your exact phrase. Take note that going solely with G search data doesn't always mean it's a great domain... Hope that helped:)
