There has got to be something fishy about it! If that is worth £80k then some better generics on here must be worth zillions... (to the right end users)

i was thinking that.

makes my only proper prime generic worth much more than i first thought.

still this sale might help me get a better price for it which is always a good thing

Their 'accepted.co.uk' business has TV adverts that I've seen numerous times. They clearly have the budget. Who'd have thunk that past tense domains could provide such a profitable niche.

I know (of) the guy behind these. At a conservative guess, they are pulling in probably close to £1million per month off those sites. So £80k for "connected" isn't much in the scheme of things. I assume it will be a telpehone/broadband raleted site. (secured loans pay £90-£150 per lead, debt pays £30-£80 per lead)

What do the accounts say?

Are their sites driven by ppc campaigns alone?

god they really do love their past tense domains trapped...secured :p

not bad, but with a 1 million budget you think they would have come up with some better sites and names - maybe they have more...

Actually, they must be having a chuckle to themselves if they read this thread. Who knows if it was a real 80K deal. You know how it is, big deals and the attendant publicity generates more business for the buyer. Any sensible company would hold the seller to an NDA, so why has this 'leaked' out?

Spin meistering perhaps.

Either that or the seller has been gloating!

I would if it was me.

yeah, especially when this thread has a direct link to them.

http_referer anyone?

:p

Too much. Either someone has been ripped off or someone is lying.
