content writers

as a general point, where do you go for content writers? do you go to a broker or direct or do you have a favourite writer. I have been using RentaCoder.com to get articles written but they are often of dubious quality and very nebulous. Trouble is, I have not had much success in finding people who can write well and who don't cost $30 per article.

Any thoughts?

I get mine from forums and freelancing sites. Trouble is, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. I tried using India once to try and cut down costs as I need content writers on quite a big scale, but that really didn't work at all.

I have also used www.contentnow.co.uk (expensive but very good) and there is also www.content4u.co.uk - all members on here I believe.

Thanks for the heads-up.

There is nothing more frustrating than repeatedly cancelling jobs because the "content writers" do not understand the indstructions and then go on to produce something unusable and barely readable.

I'd second contentnow, not cheap but quality is top notch, better than I could do myself.
