I need some assistance putting a dropdown menu into an exisiting script. I've managed to use some code that I found but the css seems to be clashing with the existing css files and is screwing the design up. So basically I need someone to either edit the css/code to make this menu work or code me one from scratch. Here's the example of the one that I can make partially work:

PM me with quotes/questions please.

Cheers, Grant

Hi Grant.

I don't have the time to do this for you but if your css is clashing it is because the elements being styled are to generic.

You should never style elements such as <ul> <p> <a>......etc directly,
You site should have a wrapper with an id, let's say #page-container then give your <ul> a class, let's say .my-list, this now gives you two ways of being more specific to stop clashing css style's

#page-container .mylist {}

Hope this helps?

Thanks mate, I'll have a play around with it.

This is so easy to make you do not even need to pay someone to do it.
Just google for tutorials etc. :rolleyes: :cool:

Grant, if you didn't get this working then I wouldn't mind taking a quick look for you.

Alternatively, one of the best CSS dropdowns I've seen is here.
