The article loses the plot in the end, talking about US law, hopefully Nominet will find out who keeps spamming all of us when a new domain is regd, I'd like to take a baseball bat to the spammers legs. Then they'd have a legitimate reason for sitting on their harris all day spamming people.

This is an absolute outrage.

Oh come on... WHOIS dataminers are stakeholders in Nominet too you know. What about them? Who's going to represent their needs?

What's a guy got to do to get a copy of the WHOIS database around here? There's other opinions apart from yours and Nominet's you know!

'If you're going to eat shit, eat elephant shit' - some bloke that Lucky Luke met when travelling around India years ago (details here).

[tongue firmly in cheek of course]

Add a couple of completely random quotations around the theme to make it authentic!

Good point, I've got just the one in mind - I just need to find it. Will edit original post once I've located it.

Kieren McCarthy seems to be the only reporter to write about anything Nominet.........

Its not the number of connections thats the abuse its what they then do with the whois data.
