It's a great shame to see it go.

Thanks for doing it when you did.

yesterday

yes thanks for an excellent service....not sure what i will do now to get this information, it was such a handy site.:(

who would complain about the site?

Good luck with your next site/sites

Typical of the rip-off, nanny state that is Britain. Companies can offer lists for com net biz etc but anybody who has the barefaced cheek to do anything within the UK, is threatened with the full wrath of the law

Thank you deleting.co.uk

Nominet sucks ass.

How gutting.

Thanks for providing this all these years.

Good luck with deleting.com

Thanks Andrew for, well what everyone else has said. It was a good service you provided and you didn't charge a penny! I know Andrew personally from winning an entpreneurial award scheme that me and him both won, and he's a good guy, I'm pretty sure he is quite upset about this.

edit: typo

Hmm - I sense dark forces at work

But I echo the sentiments of everyone else - a quality resource cut down in its prime.

Thanks Andrew for all the time and effort you put into the deleting site.

Good luck in any future ventures.

Mark.

game over :(

its sad to see such a usefull and interesting UK site be told to stop

Hi Andrew,

To be honest i'm gutted - i have found the service immensely handy over the past year or so, and as such am really sad to see it go down the drain due to some fuckwhits that have nothing better to do with their time.

I wouldn't mind betting it's the people who don't like their tag names published and being associated with dropcatching - i know one of which who has posted about being "accused" as a dropcatcher in the past on here.

Andrew are you aware of anyone at Nominet we can complain to?

Thanks and all the best,

Jon.

I speak to Lesley a fair bit by email and have sent her an email about this as soon as I read about it. I think a petition would be a good thing to go ahead with. Can't see anything bad coming out of it to say that least, so we can at try :)

aye, shame..excellent backup service....good luck in future..........
