This is worth a visit if you want ideas. ukbusinessforums.co.uk
It's been around a while and is successful. ;)

I sort of like the look, needs an SEO plug-in and should do ok pending members.

Im afraid I dont like the colour or style.

Also, I couldnt find the register button that easily.

Finally, without traffic, your forum idea just doesnt work for me. Creating a forum is possibly the hardest thing to do. Ive got a forum on iow and I just cant get it to take off and thats even with traffic.

I have never been fond of black background forums. Just seems a bit gloomy to me.

Good luck with the project though. I have a business to sell so might register on their later.

Agree totally with this. I like the domain name, think it is quite strong for this, however there are many established business forums around and it's hard to get a new one to take off. In my experience I've only been ever involved with one 'successful' forum from the start and the only way it took off was by my friend setting up a load of user accounts and writing quality posts, even talking to himself :/

Yes Agree with growing a forum. I have 2 and are nightmares to get established so lots of effort is needed (or friends)

The look is different from others which might be putting people off here. So you can either be different or go with the flow and lighten up !

Forums are hard to get going. I co-own a1businessforums.co.uk and it could be a full time job!

Best thing to do to get a forum going is only have a few different sections to start. Keep them general with the option of making more specific sections as they fill up and people need them.......

Top of google for "Discuss Business" feel free to list your business services

Changed the colours and layout.

Any thoughts please

P.s. looking for members

It is insanely difficult to get traction on forums. Funnily enough, I started installing one yesterday which is also a business forum, and am still setting up vB and vBSEO on it. I think a previous poster has it in one: You need to open a few accounts for yourself and start doing the first-step donkey work. Also a great idea to expand out the forums once you get a feel for what's being posted by others, although I don't see much adrift with your existing categories.

Hi Dunk111

As mentioned, maybe to begin with create fewer general topics sections etc.

Offer info and links for business services etc, to keep visitors coming back, until well established.? Didn't have time to look properly, ok.

Heading typface looks alittle out of place ?? me thinks.

Anyway best of Luck!!

i must admit, i dont like the colour now. i liked the black alot more.
but its impossible to make everyone happy which is why i guess most forums will be blue.

anyway keep up the good work, and i will sign up over the weekend;)
