Hello,
Id say its worth 2-10 grand at moment, depending on type of buyer.
It would be great to find end user but would also make a great project for a developer.
It would make a great long term project but would involve quite a lot of work but could be very lucarative long term if a directory and reference site could be built on it

Id say £2,000 now if a developer built a site that slowly built up a reference directory to different diseases and help organisations.
Once you get a decent library of diseases and help groups and organisations, start adding books on diseases, online medicines, preventative potions, google or bing ads, even holiday links (lifes to short and all that) to the site
Once you get the traffic, and i bet you would with good references and hard work, you could easily be looking at a very lucrative and profitable site. Value then could be decent xx,xxx
10,000 value is based on getting an end user who would run a business on it, maybe a charity wanting to raise awareness, maybe a new video game where you try to save the world, a training portal for medics, a drug company wanting to raise awareness of the diseases their products are helping, a company looking to sell drugs online, maybe even somebody making a blockbuster film that use it for advertising.
All very speculative but thats what end users are.
You either get lucky and they come to you or you work hard to find one where the rewards are often greater and 10,000 would be a fair price to pay for such a domain if you had the need and use for it in the long term.

You have the advantage of knowing offers visitors etc since purchased ? (If you can get back what it sold for in 08 you’d be doing well ?) Much harder than obvious product with known market etc. Regard long term project if search engines are getting smarter then information is more crucial than name and brand rather than a generic nearly all the time. Long term you can go net org info etc I’d say just as good and plurals some might see as better suited sold Diseases.info $1,354 Oct 08 Diseases.net $1,995 Oct 09 through in the uncertainty of uk and all the other TLDs on the horizon not a great time to achieve your high end maybe mid rangeat a push but unlikerly with anyone other than a end user which will be thin on the ground but wish you luck ?

It went for £3k and will go for more soon. I git an offer last night from one of you guys which wasnt awful. So i think ill wait.
If anyone has any tips of deving this.. i have 30 articles written about the top 30 diseases...
Any advice wwould be grately appreciat3d may as well use it whilst it sells.

I thought it originally sold on sedo in 2008 for $9,515 which I admit I thought was high ?

I think the fact that you're even posting asking for ideas to develop it, sort if hints towards it not being worth anywhere near what you think it is.
I'm just not convinced this is a good domain at all. I've just spent 5 minutes trying to think what I'd do with this domain if I owned it and wanted to develop it... and I can't come up with anything at all.
So with no real development idea, you're now looking at 'brandable'. And imho the negativity surrounding the word just kills that. So for me its a < £500 domain, buy to sell to someone else but undevelopable.
