It could work, you can get chicken or beef flavoured dog beer and through affiliates - like here

You will get 10% max from them (2.5% if they count it as food) so it could be £1 per sale or 25p.

You also need to think that a lot of people who are searching for it, probably mean Flying Dog Beer rather than beer for their dog.

outside of giving beer to a dog (!) the only possible uses i can think of for the domain are :

hair of the dog - a nice line of smooth beers for the morning after?

Newcastle Breweries of Brown Ale fame once briefly advertised (i think, in fairness, with the ads limited to Viz) their brand as being "the dog's bollocks".
