Very happy to announce that Véronique Duong will be attending and speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026.

I only recently met Véronique at NDD Camp in Paris, organised by our French friends David Chelly and Marc-Olivier Bernard.

We started talking about SEO, GEO, AI search, domains and Asia = and, well, now the conversation continues in Bangkok

Véronique has years of experience in international SEO, including Google, Baidu, Naver and Asian markets, and today she is also working deeply around GEO and visibility inside AI search.

At NDD Camp she was discussing something particularly relevant to us: what happens between owning a domain, building a site with AI, getting visibility in Google and LLMs, and actually monetising it.

Plenty for us to talk about in Bangkok.

Louise Wong (HKIAC / ADNDRC) joins Domain Summit Asia 2026

Another speaker I am particularly happy to have joining us in Bangkok

Louise Wong will return to Domain Summit Asia as one of our featured speakers.

Louise was already with us at Domain Summit Asia in Hong Kong last year, and I am very pleased that she will join us again — this time in Bangkok.

Louise is Special Counsel at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), where she leads its domain name dispute resolution work.

She is also Secretary-General of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC).

For domain investors, this should be a particularly relevant discussion.

We spend a lot of time talking about buying domains, selling them, valuations and development.

But there is another part of the business which tends to become VERY interesting the moment it affects one of your own domains

UDRP.
Trademarks.
Legitimate interests.
Bad-faith registration.
Domain investor rights.
Previous decisions and how they influence new disputes.

Louise works directly with domain name disputes, so we will have somebody in Bangkok who can discuss these subjects from the dispute-resolution side of the table.

I think it is important that Domain Summit brings these different sides of the industry together — investors, registries, registrars, lawyers and the people actually administering domain disputes.

Another featured speaker confirmed for Bangkok

Helen Ho, CEO of @NiceNICDomainServer, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026.

I particularly wanted us to have a strong registrar voice in the discussions this year.

We spend plenty of time in the domain industry talking about registries, domain investors, new TLDs and aftermarket sales.

But ultimately, the registrar is where a very large part of our industry actually meets the customer.

And that business is changing.

NiceNIC is an ICANN-accredited registrar offering more than 2,500 extensions, with a substantial reseller business and increasing focus on APIs and automated domain management.

So there are some questions I would like to put to Helen in Bangkok.

What does the registrar of 2027 look like?

Will more domains be registered through APIs rather than registrar websites?

What happens when AI agents begin registering and managing domains?

What do hosting companies and domain resellers actually want from their registrar?

How different are the Asian markets?

And where is the registrar business heading as domains become increasingly programmable infrastructure?

Helen leads NiceNIC's global operations and international partnerships, so we should have somebody very well placed to discuss all of this.

I think this will be an interesting one.

Super proud to announce that Michael Riedl, CEO of Team Internet, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

And we have put him into one of the discussions I am personally most interested in this year: The 2026 New gTLD Round: What Asia and the World Applied For — and What Happens Next

Michael has been involved with domains since the 1990s and today leads Team Internet, which operates across several parts of the domain and Internet infrastructure business.

So I think we should get a fairly broad perspective from him

Happy to announce that Artur Suvanov, Founder & CEO of aHOST.uz, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026.

I first met Artur earlier this year at Domain Summit Africa in Nairobi. We stayed in touch afterwards and have since become friends.

His panel is: “From Control Panels to Autonomous Operations — AI and Agents Inside the Domain Registrar Backend”

a little about the company:

• aHOST is the largest registrar in Uzbekistan, managing more than 70,000 .uz domains and serving over 43,000 subscribers.
• Their main production business still runs on WHMCS.
• At the same time, Artur’s team has built its own hosting, domain-registration and billing platform and is actively testing it.

So they are already dealing with the question of what a modern registrar/hosting backend should look like.

Another familiar face from Hong Kong is joining us in Bangkok

Yatin Shah, Vice President – CloudTech at Vertoz and Business Head at ConnectReseller, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026.

The first time I met Yatin at our Hong Kong event last year. Then there was Nairobi, then Kempten and, now - very happy to have Yatin, his boss Hiren Shah and Deven Jaggi back!

Ankur Raheja, Founder of Cylaw Solutions, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

For those who follow UDRP decisions, Ankur probably needs little introduction.

He has been working in domain name law for more than 20 years and has represented domain investors in numerous disputes involving trademarks, domain ownership and alleged cybersquatting.

Some of his recent cases include AXA.org, SNGLR.com and Semify.ai.

The SNGLR.com case is worth mentioning.

The complainant had participated in the DropCatch auction for the domain, lost to another bidder and subsequently filed a UDRP complaint against the new owner.

The WIPO panel rejected the complaint and found reverse domain name hijacking.

Ankur represented the winning domain investor.

He also helps maintain RDNH.com, which documents reverse domain name hijacking decisions.

I would like us to discuss some of the practical legal questions that affect domain investors.

What should you check before acquiring an aftermarket domain?

Does holding a domain for resale create any legal problems by itself?

How important is the registration date compared with the date of a trademark?

What should an investor do after receiving a UDRP complaint?

When can a complaint itself be considered an abuse of the process?

And how well does the existing UDRP system protect legitimate domain ownership?

I think Ankur will bring some useful experience to these discussions.

It is also good to have the legal side of domain investing represented alongside registrars, registries, brokers and investors.

My friend Andriy Khvetkevych, Co-Founder of NIC.UA and CEO of NicNames, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

Andriy was also with us at Domain Summit Europe in Kempten this August, so I'm pleased that he will now join our Asia event.

For those who don't know him, Andriy has been working in the domain industry for more than 20 years.

He co-founded NIC.UA in 2007, and the company grew into one of Ukraine's largest domain registrars. NIC.UA was an early adopter of automated domain registration, something that has remained an important part of Andriy's approach to this business.

Today, he is developing NicNames.com, a US-based ICANN-accredited registrar.

Andriy has also been spending considerable time exploring AI-assisted domain registration, tokenization and the role of domains in digital identity.

He recently raised an interesting point at our Kempten event.

By the time many of the extensions from the new ICANN gTLD round become available, the customer choosing the domain may increasingly be an AI agent rather than a person.

That makes me wonder how registrar businesses will need to adapt.

Will AI agents search through hundreds of extensions and select the most suitable name?

Will they consider different factors from those a human customer would?

How much of domain registration and management can become automated?

And on the domain investment side, will tokenization actually make trading and transferring domains easier?

These are subjects Andriy is working on, so I would like to hear his perspective and learn what NicNames has been testing.

I'm also happy that we can continue the conversations from Kempten in Bangkok.

Michael Bereslavsky, Founder of Exiting.com and Domain Magnate, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

This will be Michael's first Domain Summit, and I'm very pleased that he has accepted our invitation.

Michael has been involved in online businesses since 2004, initially buying and selling websites and later building Domain Magnate, a business focused on acquiring, growing and selling profitable online companies.

Today he runs Exiting.com, which provides M&A advisory services for online business owners.

Over the years, Michael has acquired more than 200 businesses, sold over 100 and advised on many more transactions.

For domain investors, I think his experience brings an interesting perspective.

Most of us are familiar with buying and selling domain names. We spend time looking at comparable sales, estimating retail values and finding potential end users.

But what if we decide to build a business on one of those domains instead?

How does the valuation change when a domain has an operating business behind it?

What kind of revenue and profit does a buyer want to see?

How much does SEO traffic matter?

When is it better to buy an existing website rather than develop something from scratch?

And how do you know when it is time to sell?

Michael has worked with SaaS companies, content websites, e-commerce businesses and other digital assets, so he can approach these questions from years of actual buying and selling experience.

There is also a nice domain story behind Exiting.com itself. Michael acquired the premium domain for his new business, recognising the value of having the right name.

I'm looking forward to welcoming Michael to his first Domain Summit and hearing more about the business side of domain development and investment.
