Sold a domain on domainlore. Anybody know whether I can add VAT to the sale price or not. I suspect not but couldn't see any info about how VAT is dealt with...

Cheers
Stephen.

Sales prices include VAT where applicable, that is the price you bid and win is what you pay, with no VAT on top. If the seller is VAT registered, the buyer should get a VAT invoice, so if you are also VAT registered, you can claim back the VAT element.

Bruce

Thanks - I hadn't really thought about this before submitting the domain so will be more aware next time!
