Does anybody think the following wording at domainlore could be better?

Domain name abcdef.co.uk is on the auction!

I would prefer:

Domain name abcdef.co.uk is being auctioned!

Has anyone else thought this or should I just rein in the pedantry?

Thanks

I think the Idea is to try and distinguish between items that are "hidden gems" and items that are then put on the actual auction.

With a hidden gem listing you get "Domain auction for abcdef.co.uk" as it is not currently running on the live auction page.

Once a domain has a bid it is then "on the auction".

Email Denys, he's a nice bloke, sure he'll consider any feedback.

I might e-mail Denis, it was really to get an idea if anyone else felt the same way, i.e. it wasn't great English and was slightly annoying, before making a suggestion.

I think a better wording would be:

Domain name abcdef.co.uk is now live on auction!

That also suggests more immediacy, so it might even help him out. Anyone else prefer it?
