What are you thoughts on the above - is it really THAT good?

Have you had any great successes?
Is it a waste of time?
What have been your experiences?

Interested to know your thoughts...

It is what it is, a platform that is generally used by domainers to sell to other domainers.

Personally, I very rarely use it, I think you'll generally get more for a domain selling direct here on Acorn and you'll almost always get a lot more with end users (but that goes without saying doesn't it?).

That said, it's a useful resource for many and the bidding is highly regulated by Denys to prevent shill bidders and other shysters.

This conversation comes up quite often. Domainlore is probably the best way of selling uk domains TRADE, so providing you are happy to sell for reseller prices, then it is a great avenue to maximise the most from this price point. I use it all the time, as I'm more interested in quick turnaround than long term strategies. I have one of the larger ranks on DL.

Of course, it comes down to what you are selling though, in 99% of cases, I'm selling what DL would consider "spotlight" domains (i.e. premium, will sell), so don't have to pay the up-front (reasonable) £5 fee. If your domains are less desirable, then you may find it very hit and miss.

The stats are on the homepage for all to see, but it's not an end user platform (or not unless you bring them yourself at least)
