Hi,

Anyone know which is the right option to do a 301 redirect via the control control in domainmonster.

The options are

IP web forwarding
Framed web forwarding (Cloaked)
Non framed web forwarding (Uncloaked)

or are none of these the good and proper 301 redirect (htaccess)

Im trying to save adding the domain to a hosting package <<<< cheap skate :D

Hi

A good and proper 301 redirect is Non-Framed Web forwarding.

Simple as that!

The framed web forwarding option keeps the original URL in the browser bar and uses a frame to display the new URL. (Not very SEO friendly, but perfect in some cases).

IP forwarding simply sets up the relevant A records automatically.

Hope that answers your question.

If I can help with anything else just let me know.

Sam
