Domains not suspending

I've had a number of 3 letter .co.uk's pop to the top of my list, accepting that the "big boys" generally get the 3 letter names, I still take a shot just for the fun

I've noticed that several names having a renewal date in Jan 2008 are still in a status of "Renewal Required". The reg date is 2002, so these are not pre-nom's.

Any suggestions why the domain will not have suspended?

I think there in the process of being renewed.

Domains which are not suspended are either in the process of being renewed (paper method) or potentially they've been put on hold from dropping (for various reasons such as legal issues etc...)

I know the domains you're referring to, they all seem to be tagged to: CI

Never know though, they could all drop anytime in the future but not today.

just seemed odd that a collection of names all on the same tag are not suspended. Surely the paper renewal can't take that long?

Happens from time to time I'm afraid. I'm still watching a domain which expired back in Oct.

I think I know which 3 letters ones you are talking about, I also checked not suspended. Well can't go up against the big boys can we???

They have now all been renewed.

I guess people must just float a few past us every now and then and renew at the last minute to keep us all awake
