probably old news but just had my lunch interupted by a Go daddy advert telling me to go reg a domain for just a quid per month (the ad was actually very good).

This is the first ad ive seen running on daytime tv like this and i'll be suprised if Go daddy don't capture a hefty chunk of the 'joe bloggs get my first domain market'.

is seems to me that to joe public there is no recognised burger king or mcdonalds of the domain world - the questuion is will we see uk reg, 123-reg and the like jumping on the tv ad bandwagon as I know this is already being done in the US..

Whats it with daytime TV and domainers?

I know one bloke who has a bond-enemy style TV setup with reruns of Trisha looping...

I prefer to watch some scraggies battle it out on the jeremy kyle show.. :D

GoDaddy have been hammering TV at all hours for about a year, they also advertise during the superbowl in yankee land. They come in hammer it for a month then go, and keep doing that.

Didnt they do the one, about I just got your mum, and your dad, and now your cat too late kinda thing ?
