No idea why they won't let you order it, but regardless I doubt they'll catch it for you as they're not too good with .co.uk names!

Because unlike other extensions there in no auction.....so it's first come first served for the one snap available.

which commercial service is best for .co.uk now?

save your money. There's fierce competition for 3letter .co.uk domains, and a commercial catcher won't have a chance. Guaranteed there's at least 50 tagholders after it. Oh, and dropctcher don't do 3 letter domains.
