So if you are catching for yourself as well and someone asks you to catch a generic domain you didn't know was dropping you could just say "slot booked" and try and catch it for youself!

No its the same amount £30 per domain if it's one catch or one hundred.

If a domain doesnt drop on the specified day is the booking caried over each until it drops potentially slowing the system down ?

The booking is not carried over if it doesnt drop on the day of booking.

Daily catch limit is 5. But usually its 2-3.

I'm more interested in the lower catch limit at that means roughtly 1.2-0.8 tries a second per domain based on 3-5 per day while staying within the half million quota which is appealing

I'm actually surprised we are not fighting over domains Grant, there was a time when you'd catch a name I was after at least once or twice a week, but not seen any for at least a month now. Have you narrowed your sectors?
