Drop Issues

Anyone else noticing many due domains did not drop yesterday nor have they dropped today so far.

Everything I had my eye on yesterday and today has dropped. In contrast to the other day when there were very clear problems and nothing got released.

Definitely seeing issues on Domains Expired on 29th July (Tagged and Detagged)

My system has just caught something (and missed a few ), so there's definitely some dropping today.

Might be worth checking the TAG of the name you are after - there are known TAG's that don't seem to follow the same pattern as the rest

CHC domains don't drop, they are usually renewed at the last minute but those that aren't, don't drop anyway. You'll find that in a few days time they will be renewed.

TagNames as well, and I believe there are several other tag-holders whose names don't necessarily drop when you'd expect them to.

wow would never want a name to be caught by CHC if they never drop.. Surely they must though at some point if they do not renew

They must do at some point I guess. I said in my previous post that they never drop. To clarify that; the ones I've followed haven't dropped, they are always renewed a few days later. Some may drop.

Anyway, it's a dropcatching rite of passage, throwing all your resources at a name that never drops. If you haven't done it a least a couple of times, you ain't a true drop catcher .
