Have I been done by these people?

They cought a .co.uk for me last night but now I can't login to the DropCatcher website, says my password is wrong when I know it's not. I emailed and got no reply and no one answsers the phone.

firstly check the whois records - this should match what ever you entered when you created the account - the TAG will be CHC (?) but it should have your name?

Yes, the domain is in my name with my address details. I even got an email from them when it was catched this morning. I just can't login to the DropCatcher site.

well i wouldn't panic - get someone else to verify the domain is in your name. Site must be down or something at the moment - but they have been the best at comms.

The sites in your name that all that counts i would be pleased they caught it and give them some space they obviously have issues at the moment.

Use the reply in the dropcatch mail you got and Chris will answer asap. Sometimes it's a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. Guy does have a life!

If you put your NS records in when you booked the name it will be on your server already.

I didn't notice that bit when I got my slot so it's been put on uk3.com nameservers by default.

Anyway, I got my password now. All is good.
