I dont think Im mad..

but the downloadable droplist from Nominet has the drop times appended with 'Z' for Zulu , but, they are actually in 'UTC' as specified on the site download page, making all the times on the list 1 hour less than the RDAP lookup..

example:

Raw Droplist
D_73848053-UKuxdrip.co.uk2025-06-30T13:46:11Z

RDAP
uxdrip.co.uk 2025-03-27T14:46:11Z

Ive spoken to them (Dave Richards) they are looking into it..

The clocks changed between the expiry and dropdate. (30th march 2025)
Zulu time is the same as UTC and GMT and domains drop according to the droplist. But BST will be an hour out in summer.

Zulu and UTC are the same.
The rdap is not the drop date/time. It is the expiry time.
The droplist is the drop date/time. That will be 95 days after the expiry but they are (for some reason) moving it an hour because there is a BST clock change between 27th March and 30th June.
You will find that all domains that expired up to 30th March will have the hour difference. After that it is gone until the end of October.
The upshot is use the droplist for the droptime.
Nominet's systems are a mess and they don't appear to understand that nobody cares about British time when using Zulu time - some of their systems apparently do.

thanks, explains it, drop vs expiry, where the expiry was/is in a different DST time.

We only use the droplist for catching, question was from a few customers using rdap..

Nominet however as you say, have given three different answers..
