easyspace .uk domains

Am I missing something here, I have bought a .co.uk from easyspace but see no option to register the .uk just keeps taking me to the control panel.

Also have agreed for another .uk domain to be transferred to me by someone who has a .uk that they dont want or need it so it should be a simple internal transfer to my account but it looks like he is having issues and raised a ticket. Is this normal?

Are people still having issues with .uk registration a month on from the launch?

The odds are high you'll need to pay nominet for the transfer, I don't know if easy space is accredited to do "pushes" on .uk domains.

As for registering them, they may not even support them, however there are no nominet problems, so its an easyspace problem.

To register the .uk just buy it as you would any other domain, if you own the co.uk the .uk purchase will go through.

Onto your 2nd question, you will need to contact the seller and request he transfers the domain via Nominet. You will also have to pay a £12 fee to accept the transfer.

Happy to pay nominet transfer fee but may not transfer it to easyhost as .uk reg dont seem so easy lol

save yourself the bother hold the domain at domainmonster or similar and point it to easy host from there

Where would the best place to keep all my domains as I have domains all over the palce with 123reg easyspace, netfirms and hostmysite

Daily.co.uk is a decent registrar for .uk domains.
