Not as far as I am aware. I Still own it. Check the Whois record. Thanks for pointing this out to me...

I will get intouch with Sedo.

I have been in touch with Sedo with regards to this domain name auction for eproperty.co.uk. As far as I am concerned I had this domain listed on Sedo, an auction was started but I requested it to be stopped as the whois record of the domain needed to be clarified as to the 'true' owner of the domain name. This has now been established. This is a genuine sale which will be completed and followed through. Also, with regards to the user MOSH (GrantW) mentioned, I had to change my username as I started to get loads of Spam email. Also, the sale of the domain name achieve.co.uk has been completed if you check the whois TURNIC is the new TAG holder and Nominet are processing the paperwork for ownership change. Hope this clarifies things.

Er, are you saying that you got the auction started, and then asked Sedo to stop it as you needed to clarify you were the true owner of the domain?

That doesn't seem to make sense at all! Can you explain what you mean please?

P.

When I listed the domain name, Sedo sent me an email saying they could not list the domain name because it did not validate. So, I sent them email asking what they ment. I got a reply from them advising I should update the WHOIS record with the name/company name listed on my Sedo account. The auction had already started but they had also sent me a email stating the domain would be removed from the auction as it did not meet their terms and condtions. I just assumed they would remove the domain name from the auction and I would just relist it again. I was not aware it had reached a sale until you sent me that link.

Yes Yesturday, hmmmmmmmm

I was actually thinking of bidding on this name but after reading some of these posts I think ill give it a miss. I'm also weary of users on ebay with new accounts and negative feedback etc.

Shame......

Yes but unlike sedo, with ebay you can sue the person if they fail to fulfil, take them to court and get the domain plus expenses. I'm sure it was all a mistake and as there's no reserve that the sale will be honoured in 9 days time.

He reserves the right to close the auction at any time - so if it doesn't reach the desired price expect it to be pulled.

And as it is a private auction, the prospect of shill bidding is something that puts me off bidding.

No they don't - and shill bidding could be a problem there too, although sedo have far fewer auctions to monitor than ebay.

Plus ebay gives the option of transparency - which you didn't choose.

Agreed - just looked at the auction but will not be bidding.

The latest feedback for the seller (I assume this is 'interscope' in this thread) states:

4 invoices sent + non paying bidder - Item relisted on a Morecambe and Wise 3 Disc Set

not great

I have 25 watchers on the domain name....

I bet most of them are AD members.... :)

It's obvious the private listing issue has unsettled diablo, would it help if I posted the winning bidder on this forum. Then prehaps you can contact him to confirm it was sold to them? That is if it would put your mind at ease.
