I used Escrow online chat to understand the position with a transaction which is in limbo (no fault of Escrow) They did not have a solution as such, but it was an informative and helpful conversation.

This was early hours Pacific time. An encouraging experience if it is their usual service.
 
Followed by not such a good experience (different transaction)

Seven days ago Escrow confirmed receipt of buyer funds, domain transferred sameday and released to requested Tag. Buyer emailed me to say all good and thanks.

A week later Escrow online chat tell me they are waiting for confirmation from buyer to start two day inspection period, and I should chase the buyer to progress the transaction.

If the buyer still does not respond I need to send a transfer receipt from the Registrar (seller in this case) and Escrow will look into the matter.

Perhaps someone could remind me of reliable Escrow alternatives based in Europe.
 
Going back to the first transaction, I received this from the buyer ...

I got notification from Escrow.com releasing funds, and they said I automatically accepted. During the time they sent me the first email then releasing funds without my approval, I was traveling from Melbourne to New York and didn't have access to internet over that day and a half.
