Check out the .eu whois for popular domains like sex.eu, etc. You will see that some registrars have applied multiple times indicating that they have multiple memberships, and also they all applied within seconds off the whois becoming live at 11am.

For us mere mortals waiting until 7th April, we basically don't stand a chance of getting a semi decent name.

I thought you could only apply early re trade marks and that these must be non-generic??

Trademark holders can/could apply from 10.00am UK time 7th december until 7ht Feb 06 and clearly someone in Sweden had some excellent connection/method on sex.eu if you look at his time versus the others. Would be interested to know from some of the professionals on here as to how he managed such a fast time ?.

I doubt it, but how they will decide who gets the top generics is beyond me, look at the domain casino.eu, 83 applications for this one domain alone!

Yes it does but you have to implicitly search for each one, there isn't a long list you can just look through.
