extension dilemma

I've found a potentailly nice domain that exact search results in goog = 18k+

the .com & .co.uk have been taken but all others are available.

The market for this domain would be global, do you have any suggeestions as what the best extn would be ? .org .net. .org.uk etc

I would say go with the .net and possibly .de if that's also available as .net and .de are apparently the most popular tld's after.com's as far as I'm aware?

.de is a ccTLD like .co.uk If it is for a global audience then i would stick with .net .org .info
