External HDD

Can anyone recommend a cheap, decent, not bulky, external HDD that's also portable, etc?

What I done when I was looking for a portable hard drive was search on HUKD every day or so and eventually you'll come across a bargain.

I got a great one (500gb, USB 3.0, good make etc) for £40 a month or two ago.

Thanks everyone, went for a cheapie 'bargain bucket item' from CCL in the end, about £40, it's great! 320GB enough for now, can always get another later:

It actually ended up being an 'Intenso' branded kit, works nicely.

PS: Also bought brand new laptop for Mrs Alien at the same time (old one almost dead, lol), all good so far with it and has great specs!

You could always buy an empty caddie and put in the HDD of your choice, that's what I do.
