Just came across a few articles a while ago about Facebook purchasing Instagram recently and thought it was quite interesting.
There's an article here that explains a good bit about it. I wonder if they are going to leave it alone and let it slowly go away or will they try to integrate it with Facebook?
Just goes to show you that even big sites such as Facebook can get scared about competition
I've just wrote a short article about a few of the reasons why Facebook might've bought Instagram too if you want to have a quick read of it too.
