In light that the domain name pitman.co.uk is currently suspended, i'm just fielding opinion regarding the famous case over this domain name back in 1997. Perhaps whoever gets it might like to dedicate its use to the case law it generated. Opinions/suggestions anyone?

Amazing. It was suspended when i posted. I suppose the same question applies, seeing as it is a 'new' registration.

One other point. Other than relying of archive searches (which only flag up past use if the owners actually put up a web site), wouldn't it be beneficial to be able to see if a domain name had a past life if it is registered a second time following suspension?

...and isn't the new registrant opening themselves up to a possible DRS/ legal case with the landing page content?
