Actually it's the 'talking down' to you that p*sses me off. I'd be happy to pay them a blanket fee of £9.95 per year to encompass all their crass stupidity.

i would agree amazons customer service is great.

play.com / ebuyer.co.uk / 7digital.com also have outstanding customer service

although i have to say lots of places dont (and it seems to have got worse with the recession)

Suprised about fasthosts it was recommended to me by a good friend.. I've been with them about a month or two now and no complaints - they even rang me to make sure i was happy with the service so far, and said if there was *any* problems at all to call/contact them!! -this was for their reseller hosting service mind.
