That said, I would create - or look in online image galleries (123rf.com or istockphoto.com are 2 I use) for an attractive photo of a cocktail or of people drinking cocktails and use this as a nice big attractive top photo to "hook" the reader.
It would be nice to have individual photos for each cocktail rather than just the boring glass.
Regarding duplicate content, run your pages past copyscape.com to see how well they do - although Google is likely to have more sopiisticated checks. Often, just "mixing up the words" is not enough - so many articles have been spun and respun that the technology is out there to pick up on this. Try adding some unique content to your home page (vital) and each inner page.
