Now on Sale at SEDO:

FootballSchedule.co.uk

Asking price: £4,500

Domain is listed in SEDO's Featured Section and Bargain Section.

This premium sports domain has 27K exact local searches (Google Adwords). FootballSchedule.co.uk is well suited for locating game schedules, football match results, ticket and venue information, live football feeds, player stats and much more.

Domain is already priced low, but I will consider offers via SEDO

Sorry to say, in my opinion it's not even worth the registration fee...

You have to pay a great deal of money to legally show the FA Premier League fixtures list

PLUS

Hardly anyone uses this term

PLUS

Anyone wanting to find this information can use numerous sites that will have news about their favoured team

PLUS

The adverts for such a term are going to be poor and pay very low amounts

PLUS

People are unlikely to click on any ads anyway, what services naturally go with looking at which team you play next (if they need transport they won't be at that stage - they would know by the fact they would have a ticket or they would not have a ticket yet hence not be needing transpot yet...)

Sorry it's such a negative post - just hope it helps you to analyse the value of domains so you don't waste money. If you had posted an into, I might have known how experienced you are and you would have got a response that took such info into account.

P.S. I also have domains that are not worth the reg fee and I'll drop!

Thanks for the reply all. I appreciate your feedback. I am a big football fan and find myself looking for football schedule and venues online. I priced the domain, looking at Adwords, looking at registration availability (.com, .org, .net, .info taken), and at valuate (dot) com.

I would have loved to develop and build this domain, but I am caring for sick family member, and my time to develop and market domains is limited (so I decided to sell it).

Anyhow, thanks for the feedback. I still think the domain is worth the registration and much more, but I will reconsider my price.

The only way this will sell is if your in on some money laundering scam.

Where did you come up with the name Helen from?

What? Huh? I am not sure what you mean. Actually, I don't really know how to respond. For the record:

I liked the domain name and registered it.

Helen is my grandmother's first name and my mother's middle name. Suffice?

Scrutiny, Scrutiny, Scrutiny. Jeez.

I know I am new, but I am also legit. I payed to advertise on SEDO (b/c I worked with them in the past). I thought I could post the sale of my domain on this "fixed price section" of the forum, but ouch I am getting a beaten.

I still love this site, and appreciate all the feedback.

bottom line on this one is that its primary purpose would be football schedule listings and as already mentioned (i know as I looked into doing this on another domain) you need to buy a license before being allowed to publish the data (FA license costs around 10k annually when I last checked).

most tend to use bbc, sky or their respective team sites when looking for scheduling info so would be hard to get traffic.
