Im looking for some kind of script that will allow me to publish on a website latest topics of a section of my choice from a forum.

I want it to be published on my site in a plain word list that will link out to the forum thread when clicked!

Any help would be great,

Mat

If the forum produced a suitable RSS feed and your website used a CMS like Joomla or Wordpress then it would be "just" a case of picking a suitable plugin and configuring it.

If you are after a customised script - I can write scraping scripts in Perl quickly and fairly cheaply.

You could go from the Forum section to an RSS feed first, this would give you flexibility in how you used it.

You could regularly scrape the site and put the output in your database and use it as you like, or if your site was getting very light use (or you owned the forum site too) you could bring the forum threads in "live".

If you're not after a customised script people answering are going to need to know:
1. What CMS if any you are using on your site, or otherwise describe your website.
2. What software the forum runs on, if it provide suitable feeds.
3. If you own the forum
