Recommendations for a wordpress forum plugin please. Ive tried simplepress but it's glitchy, support is non existent and most essentials are paid bolt ons.

Probably not the answer you want to hear but they are all shocking, if i was "forced" to use one for what ever reason id probably choose wpforo.

Better using a script that is designed to be a forum, rather than one that's trying to be one but will never scale if requied and/or is always a risk converting to a better script at a later date
