I have a forum I have had running on vBulletin for 6-7 years and has been patched up to the latest vB4 and runs well.
It is using Nginx and a Sphinx Search plugin so it runs really quickly.
I keep reading everywhere about everybody moving over to Xenforo and I have signed up for a demo a few times but I can't see what advantages it would have, other than migrating for the sake of it.
Looking at links like this - http://www.forummatrix.org/compare/vBulletin+XenForo I can't really see many practical benefits either.
Has anybody got in depth experience in both?
