Just raising awareness of the AD forum toolbar!

I use it all day long but no-one else seems to. I just updated it to show better data feeds and a link to Facebook.

Any ideas for better features welcome if not try it!

I know it saves me from hunting for AD since it sits nicely on my browser header just a click away.

I only tried it once about 18 months ago and it went funny on me but that was on an old desktop as oppose to my relatively new laptop, I will give it a try again though tommorow :)

Edit > I mean later today lol

Q, does it alert you to new posts when you're not on Acorn ?

It can but I havent set that other than the Sold forum in the Domain Feeds.

I have put "New Posts" in the "AD URLS" button so that you can jump straight to new posts (like clicking a favourite).

I can have it add forum posts to the "Domain Feeds" drop down if needed.

Give it a try and let me know.

Cheers

Your image of the toolbar shows "backlinks", but I've just downloaded it and no "backlinks" appears. Is it still a feature or am I just overlooking something?

Thanks, Luke

Just added it, I don't normally add toolbars but I spend a lot of time on Acorn so it is handy to have

Anyone downloaded it other than me and Luke ?

ps. I could swear you closed this thread yesterday Admin :?

No I didnt close this thread, the one with the toolbar info is closed so you are probably thinking of that.

I've been using it every day for years and it definately saves me time on AD. Plus I can disable it when I need to show my screen to the boss! lol

I find it much easier clicking on the toolbar than finding it in my favs..

Too bad i stopped using firefox about a month ago and moved to chrome.

Would it be possible to have a chrome extension or would that be too much work?

2 days on and I am still using it and it is quite handy if you remember to use it.

Admin > you'll be happy to know that I am keeping mine
