Facebook just sent me a free £25 Advertising Voucher.

I created an Ad a couple weeks ago but didn't make it go live, this triggered the voucher

Trying it now to see how it goes, anyone else trying FB ads?

I'm trying but they keep rejecting - wanting a scan of my driving license!

I've been in contact with them for over a week with no progress and very slow responses from their side!!

Be interesting to hear opinions and see if I'm wasting my time

They were questioning my ownership of the domain I was trying to advertise

It's registered under a company name, so I have already replied saying I can liaise with them under the company's email account - or supply a copy of the licence if such a must but just annoying it's been a week since their last reply and nothing since.....

Their prices look better than the inflated CPC prices on Adwords - on Adwords on most campaigns either the margins are so tight, profit is extremely low - or I have to take a loss on first custom and rely on repeats to make a profit. It's getting a joke.

I'm hoping Facebook, at least in the interim, will provide a better return.

I just started using Facebook ads the other day. I didn't have a voucher though :(, are they just for new accounts?

Results have been okay, cheaper than adwords, but no real stats to prove they work yet. I do like how specific you can be with who you're targeting though. Anyone got any tips?

What a joke why would you pay to advertise someone else's site unless there trying to avoid to affiliate marketing attempts

I've been running some Facebook ads on a targeted audience CPM rate.

The number of clicks per CPM spend is lower than G's PPC for same term (by about 50% - but extremely limited sample) - although conversions of the traffic have been a little poorer

Anyone else have any experiences to share?
