Future domains

Hi gang

Just wondered eveyones opinion on future domains.

I found rocketjetpacks .com is free. Now obviously no one really has a jet pack at the moment. But lets say 50 years down the line everyone has a rocket jet pack. Much like everyone now has a mobile phone. Surely the domain would be worth a small fortune.

My question is: Is it worth regging rocketjetpacks .com and waiting the next 50 years, paying the renewal even though this domain will not blossom for ages.

All I would say is that every domainer should be a bit of a futurologist, because by identifying products and trends early you can do very well, just don't get too carried away and have realistic expectations.
