anyone had their garage converted or done it themselves? i'm thinking of doing part of mine but have a few queries. or anyone know any good sites with photos or videos preferably uk based?

My mate had his converted, now his tv room with a big plasma and some comfy sofa's. Great use as he had a double garage and only needed to use one,.

Yes it can be quite common to do so. But I urge anyone that is going to do it themselves to get it checked over properly by an expert. You can find some real nasty stuff...and it just looks like Plasterboard.
