After having a site drop out of the SERPS, I made some changes (I had overstuffed the keywords a little) and applied for a reconsideration request, this they say can take a few weeks (vague), received a reply today to say they had looked at the site and completed evaluation for reconsideration, that's about it, nothing to say that it was ok, or not ok, or what are/were the issues if any at all (vague). The webmaster pages are so general and (vague).

Webmasters need to know how they can fix any problems that the big 'G' has with their site, vagueness is useless and frustrating, in many cases the site that may have caused offense to 'G' could be the livelyhood of that person or persons.

On another note I set up a adwords ad on the 1st of March, the ad was under review until today, 33 days!.

I sent an email to the adword team after about 3 weeks asking when my ad might be reviewed, the reply was a copy and paste from the help documentation, and a link to the help pages, patronizing vagueness.

Geting a bit sick of 'G's axe wielding monopolising vagueness.

I hate myself for saying this but it is hard to blame them for not doing a full report as they probably get tens of thousands of requests a day. Although it would be usefull if on their side they could atleast send out premade replies to give you a basic idea :)

anyway a modorate title stuffing penalty shouldn't last more than 3 months aslong as you correct the problem.

monitor the amount of pages that are being indexed, using "site:yoursite.co.uk".

Cheers WW, all my pages are being indexed, but only 1 out of 130+ is in first 100 pages (previously home page was page 3-4) I think I might be dancing, which means the re-evaluation may not have been necessary.

As for the full report issue, I do not expect that much, but when they do an evaluation at least say," we still have issues with your site", or "we don't have issues with your site, and in the next few weeks it will reappear in the SERPS" other wise what is the point in even replying

Appearing in the Google results is a privilege NOT a right - too many people forget this
