Just notice godaddy are having a sale on the .co.uk & .uk domains at just £1 / year.

Your not limited to one domain either, ive registered several and all went through at just a quid each.

Amazing offer. Dropped 57 domains this week that I intended to register the UK in January, just registered them and the price even included vat. Tag change and all done and huge saving. Good post :)

Thanks Suggs. A great deal there!

I read the small print and I thought it said you had to do 2 yrs and the second year were 6.99, so £7,99 each.

I must have read it wrong.

Sounds like a glitch, better get on it and take advantage asap :)

Not a glitch. It's a sale till Monday. Does say renewal fees are higher but nothing in terms about regging for a year and moving away. They even send you a nice leaving email ten minutes after you move them.

If it was a glitch I wouldn't have done it as id feel obliged to pay them back.

Caz, where/how did you change the TAG in godaddy? did you have to ask them to manually do it.

I can't find the thing I saw but it said something like First year £1, when buying 2 yr registration. So I'm guessing its not supposed to allow 1 yr regs, but I can't find the small print now so maybe I misread it.

Thats odd, when you to https://uk.godaddy.com/tlds/uk?ci=95298&tld=uk&isc=gofduk29 it briefly shows the "when you buy 2 yrs" messages, then vanishes yet its still in the source code.

Looks like they changed the offer :)

Yeah, I grabbed few last night as well and was surprised, that this time around I was even allowed to pay with PayPal, or skrill. Normally for GoDaddy offers it's just a credit card payments (not that it matters that much)

Didn't realize you had thread going here, I started other one this morning :D
