Going rate for mysurname.co.uk?

I appreciate that this will vary depending upon the name, but can anyone give me a rough idea of a reasonable price for a surname as a .co.uk domain?

The surname is not common (e.g. Smith, Jones etc) but not so rare that the domain is not registered.

Any ball park figures anyone?

There is no standard price list in this business, asking prices and sale prices vary enormously even for similar domains.

The price probably depends on who is selling the domain and their need for cash. A rough guide would be £200-£500.

In a moment of rash generosity I agreed to accept £75 for an American surname and the buyer still wants to haggle, despite his prestigious corporate email address.
