I bought a Toshiba NB100 yesterday for use on the train. In XP flavour as Linux and mobile broadband dongles dont mix

Does anyone else have MAJOR issues getting XP to connect to Wifi networks ?

It doesnt seem to want to want to connect unless it add it to my network list, which if your jacking a connection you really don't wanna be adding them.

I'm tempted to bung another gb of ram and run vista or go down to 2k because XP really does suck nuts!

My eeepc runs an nlite'd version of XP SP3 and have no wifi connection issues using the built in wireless.

However, my daughter's old shuttle had connection issues on XP using a wireless dongle and occasionally a wireless card, but I blamed the dongle and Sy broadband ;)

I got the NB100 as well but running ubuntu-remix.

I use the Huawei E220 usb modem works fine with a script I found on the web.
