Just about to try out Google adwords across our network.

I've tried styling them up, but they look a bit naff compared to the way some people manage to style theirs...

What top tips have you got for increasing click through, and the presentation of the ads on a page.

Thanks

When you say you are trying out Adwords and want to style them, do you mean Adsense? If so try searching for Adsense layout, Adsense template, Adsense format etc but beware it's an area that is heavily spammed.

Seobook.com published one a while ago, I'll see if I can email it to you. Of course every time you convince a viewer to click an Adsense ad they leave your site.

dont use adwords, they are expensive, and they are not affective. You pay per click even if poeple click on accident. It gets expensive and is inaffective try to go to SEO company they can advertise your site alot! it is new and revolutionary, so you will get a great deal, until it starts becoming bigger. Just go to the Your company section for more information.

What a ridiculous statement.

Adwords is your doorway to any type of customer at any time of the day you desire.

The ROI is in plain view. You may spend a couple of bob getting yourself right, but after that it's a breeze.

The problem is no one reads googles help pages and they wonder why their success rate is low.

SEO is new and revolutionary?!?

Does anyone know of any case studies for adwords, where someone has kept a log of what they did, the results they saw, etc? I ran my first PPC campaign this week on Facebook (using a minimal budget and little knowledge) and making minor adjustments to the add managed to improve the results each day of the campaign. It still hasn't translated into sales yet though :(

I'd like to read through other peoples successful experiences with PPC in some detail before I attempt it again..
