That story didn't really seem to go anywhere. It's several weeks old, and there's been no follow-up despite the fact that I would have thought that sort of thing would have been watched nearly as eagerly as Apple's new product announcements...

Just when we though facebook was unstoppable with half a billion users, google have decided to wake up. I think it doesn't help that G have been through this with google buzz....however I think this is going to be a seriously concerted effort as FB is a real threat to the big G.
