Google will not touch it - any ideas why?!

Hi guys, i bought www.bingoreviews.net off of Sedo back in Feb and have put a site up for indexing. The problem is Google will not touch it. Can anyone have a quick look and tell me why? Do you reckon the previous owner got it penalised and if so what can I do to get it listed? Thanks!

Bing!!

It like registering bingopens.co.uk, does Google see that as 'Bingo pens' or 'Bing opens'? I doubt Google are going to take the chance on anything Bing, they probably have an alert on the term!

Try submitting a reinclusion request with Google through webmaster tools telling them the problem (you bought - may still be penalized) - should get a response within 2 weeks

You should also keep your eyes open on the access log for the googlebot to see if it's coming round at all

Have you got search engines blocked in the wordpress settings? Stupid I know but I had a couple of sites I was wondering why they were not getting indexed and decided to check that and 'bingo' that was the problem, indexed the next day after that

Ok lets see:

1) Its not google hating bing, use your head and search bingo.
2) Its not WP settings, its on yahoo and bing.
3) Its not your robots.txt, thats fine.

Unsure what it could be, follow nicks advice.

That search brings up bingoreview.net - not bingoreviews.net.

FYI you always use site:withoutspace.com to only get results for one specific website.

noticed the other site without the s is very similar wonder if it has to with duplicate content

google may think this is a link farm

Google doesn't class as link farm unless your linking back. You cant help who links to you

true .... what i meant was when checking links there are only two one is alexa and the other is link daddy

so maybe google ignores the link from link daddy and so has not found it yet.

The previous owner used www.

your using non-www.

You both did 301 (permanent) redirects, so now google doesn't have a clue where it has moved to?

In some cases when these things happen, the reason could be due to the status of the domain in the past. For example, the previous owner may not have updated the contents of that for months and no valuable links may be pointing at it. By using your Google Webmaster Tools and then adding fresh contents to that, after a while the Googlebot would be visiting it.

Bingoreviews.net is now listed on Google after I filed a reconsideration request - nice!! Thought I'd update you all!
